Important activities
The project aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the police in Norway and Romania, as well as the development of the police's operational capacities, especially in the field of human trafficking, economic crimes and combating itinerant crime.
- Modernizing and increasing the capacity of the AFIS national system in order to develop the exchange and identification of dactyloscopic data;
- Carrying out joint operative missions both in Romania and in Norway;
- Rehabilitation/building of training facilities; procurement of specific equipment for police work;
- Organization of seminars, exchanges of experience, specialized training aiming to improve professional skills and enhanced performance of police staff;
- Awareness campaigns to prevent crime, including human trafficking.
